Happy 7th Birthday iPod!

That’s right, it seems like the iPod has existed forever, but only 7 short years ago today, the iPod was introduced to the world. The original 5 gigabyte model (which was Mac only at the time), was released for $399. Now I’ve never owned an iPod, prefering the subscription services like Napster, Rhapsody, and Zune Marketplace, but you can NOT argue about the significance of the iPod on our culture. It really has changed the face of music. Hats off to you iPod, happy birthday!
