Sesame Street makes it’s way onto Hulu

Everyone reading this blog is probably extremely familiar with childhood-learning program Sesame Street. In fact, if you haven’t heard of it, you probably don’t own a TV. So as someone who grew up with Bert, Ernie, Big Bird, Oscar, and the gang, this news brings a smile to my face.
Sesame Street is making it’s way to Hulu and iTunes in an effort to engage a group of children who are more and more likely to eschew the Television entirely for entirely internet driven content. On iTunes you’ll be able to buy full episodes of the show for the usual $1.99, and Hulu will have special segments available for free.
Now considering this is a public televison program, I’d rather they had all the old episodes available for free, just the same way they are broadcast, but this is the internet future, and people have to make money somehow. Either way it’s nice to know that the old gang will survive the transition to entertain more and more new kids for years to come.
Now let me go and watch some… sesame……. street….. on….. hulu…. shut up.
