Blackberry Kickstart actually next generation Pearl!

Well, at least scans of Rogers internal promotional materials found on BlackBerry Cool call it that. Apparently the Blackberry flip phone formerly called the Kickstart, is now called the Pearl. Making it the third generation of the highly-praised consumer Blackberry line.
We’ve also got some hard details on the phone itself, revealing that it does in fact have UMA, GPS, and WiFi, but only runs on EDGE data. It also contains a 2 megapixel camera with video capability.
Check out the shots below!

Considering that my only real problem with the original Pearl when I owned it, was the fact that debris kept getting into the pearl causing navigation problems, this is a pretty slick way for them to keep the little trackball clean and working for a longer period of time.
Like I said last time though, It’s a shame this phone wasn’t released a year or two ago. I think it’s impact would have been much bigger.
